Here we have my lovely Ranger RCI 2950DX, it is in really nice condition apart from some wear marks on corners off facia and some light scratch's here and their, please see pictures!! it has recently been serviced were the vco was adjusted slightly to suit the Ranger modification for the frequency expansion to run from 21 Mhz to 29:699 Mhz, the modification is just a jumper plug behind the front panel, all sorts can be achieved by swapping the jumper on to different pins including 50-54 Mhz 6 meters!!! The input Capacitors were upgraded from the 1000uf to 4700uf and 3300uf AS recommended, this gives a better output and more punch on ssb, ALL THE WORK WAS DONE BY THE SAME ENGINEER!! the audio on this radio is outstanding BBC clear, it has a very healthy output also! the engineer who just serviced is a very respected chap and known for his work with amateur radio! It comes with mounting bracket power lead and a Cybernet mike wired to suit! it will also come with anti tamper stickers stuck to cases. All in all a great little radio that offers so much. Pickup is welcome however I can send worldwide.
